Every Cannabis strain has a different origin and its own unique terpene profile. So what are Terpenes anyway?

Terpenes are common components of flavorings and fragrances, and are responsible for the flower’s unique scent and taste. Terpenes can also be found in other plants, fruits, and herbs. There are currently over 200 terpenes in the cannabis plant, which can make evaluating aroma a bit complex. 

However, distinctions can be made between high quality and low quality flower through the sense of smell, no matter the type of Terpene profile. Here are a few things to take into consideration while evaluating aromas:
